Office Functionality no email or calendar

Came to the conclusion that my iPhone 4 doesn't support email and calendar on my office in I drive. Am I missing something? Have AT&T and phone receives calls as well as use of phone book in I-drive. Went through the tutorials and read manual but no help.

I didn't get BMW Apps but I have BMW assist with my Tech package. Who should I go to for help on this kind of issue?

Office is Blackberry only in regards to email, as far as I know.

unbelievable thought apple worked closely with BMW. Maybe a future fix?

Yes, but Apple is the one that needs to make it, not BMW. It's a weakness in Apple's implementation.

Yes - this REALLY P*SSED ME OFF. Especially when, before I bought the car, I was drooling over all the things I could do with office integration.

Anyhow, if it's as bad as twitter, you may as well just keep to using the iPhone ;-)

Apple=toy
BB=tool

Most business people use BB for the security features.

Tell Apple that you want your iPhone to provide support for Bluetooth MAP (Message Access Profile). That's what you need in order to access email:

Sent off input to apple on this topic. I am wondering if one had BMW apps if that would make a difference.

I have BMW apps and the calendar function works with my iphone 4, but not email.

There's hope. It appears that Bluetooth MAP will be supported in IOS 6. It's listed on the righthand side of the attached image:

I have a blackberry and my X3 still doesn't recognise my emails, calendar or internet

I believe you need at least blackberry OS 6 for this to work.
