Left ignition in "on" position overnight and error codes
Hi BMW Forum,
My mom accidentally left the ignition in the "ON" position draining the battery completely. I recharged the battery and now I have a funky throttle response. I cleared all of the codes, and some came back. My check engine light is now on, and the throttle response when coming off the line is "jumpy". Before the battery drain nothing was stored in error memory except for the driver restraint system fault with the airbag. What do you guys think could be the issue? These are the error codes I am seeing: E R R O R M E M O R Y ----------------------- Date: 22.05.2012 22:29:59 Model: E65 Scope: all control module JobStatus: OKAY Quantity: 57 ----------------------------------------------------------------- ADR Gen. name JobStatus 1B VVT ERROR_ECU_SERVICE_NOT_SUPPORTED 1E VVT2 ERROR_ECU_SERVICE_NOT_SUPPORTED ----------------------------------------------------------------- ADR Gen. name JobStatus Number of errors• Error code Kind of error 00 ZGM OKAY No Error stored• 01 SIM/SGM OKAY No Error stored• 02 SZL OKAY No Error stored• 03 SASL OKAY No Error stored• 04 SASR OKAY No Error stored• 05 STVL/TEFA OKAY No Error stored• 06 STVR/TEBF OKAY No Error stored• 07 SSFA OKAY 3 Error stored• 9763 60• 9762 60• 9765 60• 08 SSBF OKAY No Error stored• 09 SBSL OKAY No Error stored• 0A SBSR OKAY No Error stored• 0D SSH OKAY No Error stored• 0E SFZ OKAY No Error stored• 12 DME/DDE OKAY 7 Error stored• 2D03 61• 2D0F A1• 2B80 A1• 29ED 61• 29EF E1• 29EE 61• 29F0 E1• 18 EGS OKAY No Error stored• 22 ALC OKAY No Error stored• 23 ARS OKAY No Error stored• 27 PGS OKAY 1 Error stored• A097 20• 29 DSC OKAY No Error stored• 2A EMF OKAY 1 Error stored• D3BD A8• 31 MMC OKAY No Error stored• 32 MMIFGW OKAY No Error stored• 35 SVS OKAY No Error stored• 36 TEL/MULF OKAY No Error stored• 37 AMP OKAY No Error stored• 3A KHI OKAY No Error stored• 3C CDC OKAY No Error stored• 3F ASK OKAY No Error stored• 40 CAS OKAY No Error stored• 41 DWA OKAY No Error stored• 42 CIM OKAY No Error stored• 43 POW OKAY No Error stored• 44 SHD/MDS OKAY No Error stored• 45 RLS OKAY No Error stored• 46 WIM OKAY No Error stored• 47 ANTTU OKAY No Error stored• 4B VIDEO OKAY No Error stored• 4C TMFT OKAY No Error stored• 4D TMBT OKAY No Error stored• 4E TMFTH OKAY No Error stored• 4F TMBTH OKAY 1 Error stored• 9C18 71• 54 RADIO OKAY No Error stored• 60 KOMBI OKAY No Error stored• 62 MOSTGW OKAY No Error stored• 64 PDC OKAY No Error stored• 65 BZM/SZM OKAY No Error stored• 66 BZMF OKAY No Error stored• 67 ZBE OKAY No Error stored• 68 ZBEF OKAY 1 Error stored• E307 20• 6B HKL OKAY No Error stored• 6D FAS OKAY No Error stored• 6E BFS OKAY No Error stored• 70 LM OKAY No Error stored• 74 CIDF OKAY 1 Error stored• A488 64• 78 KLIMA OKAY 1 Error stored• 9C76 64• ================================================== =============== |

Update.. I just cleared the codes and started the engine back up... The 2D03 error code came back on right away. Which sensor is that?

Could you tell me how you were able to resolve the issue? |
