Lower front bumper paint damage

Hey everyone I'm brand new to the forum as I just bought my '08 E90 335i about a month ago. Unfortunately, the first day of driving it (I drove a dodge charger before this which was much higher) I drove the front bumper over one of the parking spot curb stop things. This caused the paint on the lower right part of my bumper to completely scrape off the bumper . It is really only noticeable when you get down on the ground and look at it, but I don't want any more paint to keep flaking off from the bumper. My question to you is - without replacing the bumper, what are some ideas of what I can do to remedy the problem? Would getting a clear bra prevent further paint removal? Would getting something like a front lip attachment over the spot be a good option (something like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/PAINTED-BMW-...61c1&vxp=mtr)? My main concern is more paint coming off the bumper - as I said you can hardly tell that the removed paint is gone at a normal looking angle. I'm afraid to even go get it washed at a car wash with the possibility of the wash doing the spray that sprays the underside of the car. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks_a_
