Well good luck OP, hope it lasts a while and you can enjoy it! I agree the dealership did look very shady and so did the car and i personally wouldn't have gotten it but if he liked it enough to spend his money then i think it will be fine. Good luck!

I have no idea nor is it relevant. He earned the money and bought his car. Which is more than most can say here.

Excuse me? Are you laboring under the impression that most of us are heirs to unknown fortunes who had our cars given to us?

Because you made the statement "He earned the money and bought his car. Which is more than most can say here."
Therefore you are saying most of us did not earn the money to buy our cars. Or were you just being insulting for dramatic effect?

I'm saying most people don't own their cars because they're either financed or leased. The OP, OTOH, owns his car outright. It's not financed and it's not leased. It's his. Nothing insulting about this. It's reality.

That may have been what you meant, but it's not what you said. Past that, on what are you basing your view of "reality"? You have no idea if the majority of the people here finance, lease, pay up front, or have paid their cars off.

It's exactly what I said in post #92. As for knowing if people own their cars or not call it an educated conclusion. But you'll notice, again in post #92, where I asked: How many here can say they own their E9x?

Hmmm. An educated conclusion would be that the majority of the people here thought it was none of your business and didn't answer.

It wasn't the lack of answers which led me to my educated conclusion. It's reality. The majority of people who drive a late model vehicle either financed or leased it. Most people don't outright buy their vehicle as the OP did.

sunny5280 is never rude or snippy. He was just making an observation that few folk buy cars in cash right off the lot. He didn't mean anything and is being misunderstood here.
Of course, how any of that would be my business, or what I am doing posting here when I have a major deadline in just two days, are unrelated questions.

Thanks KT. I'm not sure I would say "never". While I try to be polite and considerate I'm sure there are examples where I've been rude and / or snippy on occasion.

In this case, it's only good for another few months, but it will let the "teething" issues get resolved. Hopefully.
