Thinking about buying this.. Thoughts?

Ok.. So it's an '09 CPO Space Gray/Black M3 with 20,000 miles.. Price is $50,000.

I really don't want to build one and wait.. I do drive a good 15,000m+ per year. So I'm a little concerned that 20k miles is high.. But the price is right. I also don't keep cars for more than 2 or three years.. So if I buy this, I'll be selling it when the new body style is out, and it will have 60k miles.. Wondering if it doesn't make sense, or if it does.. I'm not a math wiz, so crunching numbers isn't my forte..

Thoughts?

The mileage on this car isn't high at all considering that it could've been purchase in late 08. Comp package wasn't available on this build and if you don't plan to hit the track you shouldn't miss it. The price is taking the mileage and CPO into account......hell I've had my car almost a year and 1/2 and it now has 18xxx on the ticker. The good thing is, as the miles pile up so does the performance. This car gets stronger with age. Make a offer and start at 48k and see where it goes......GL............................Phil

If it feels right then do it. You won't regret owning this car. I agree with everything Phil said above, $50k seems a smidge on the high side. My car is getting stronger and mileage improving daily. If Competition Package were not available when I bought, I still would have bought the car. Good luck.

Thanks guys.. I asked the salesman to give me his thoughts on the condition of the car before I drove 75 miles to go look at it. He said it was beautiful, only a finger nail size scratch on bumper. I drove there, and the car was a turd.. Dog hair everywhere, scratches all over, and a big dog paw scratch right on the drivers seat with 5 scratch marks. PASS.. Grateful for the feedback though.. Onwards.
