New Grill and fender

Well I've always wanted a black grill. Basically I got bored today and started to black out all the chrome on the car. So far I have the grill and that side light piece done. I can't find anymore to do besides the badge, but that looks a little too hard to do. what do you guys think. Plasti dip is my new best friend. Hopefully someone likes this since I'm trying to sell my car.

All in all it wasn't too hard. I removed the grill and the fender trim. I'm not brave enough to do it on the car. Was going to matte the door handles as well, but after I taped it up I figured it might look stupid and didn't want to take a chance on the paint again. What do you guys thing. Took about two hours, but it was start and stop as i had to let the coats dry. I got a little run on the grill, but I think I was too close.

IT's not paint, plasti dip is some rubber type of stuff. Not really worried about it chipping. It looks good though for a 5 dollar can of goo. I'm actually in the process of trying to sell the car as well. Just trying to do some subtle things to help the sell.

What plastic dip did you use? How did you apply it?

I used the one in the spray can from home depot for 6 bucks. I just removed the grill and followed the instructions I found on youtube. It was crazy simple. Then I found a post on here about how to remove the side grill/ chrome piece and it was golden. This weekend I'm going to attempt to plati dip my face on the rims black while leaving the lip still white. If it does not turn out good, looks like I'll be peeeling it off.

License plate shaved, looking for a "Mat Black Grill"

Anyone have a good recommendation where to buy a quality mat black grill and fender spears? I'm looking for something that fits nicely to the wifes car (quality).
Thanks.

no recommendation but nice ride and nice house - the mix of stone and shake looks great! In my humble opinion, you have enough black on the six... stick with the chrome for a little contrast... but purely a matter of personal taste, so go for it if you want.

Im not knocking it but I dont think the plastic dip is forever. The product will loose its luster in due time. But the pics look great.
