Question Revert to Factory Coding

Hey all,

I have searched but cant find the answer to this.

I remember theres a simple way to revert to the factory coding without using backup files (if you have only coded VO), but cant remember?

What is it that I click?

Thanks!

Using factory original FA, VO Code each ECU that you coded.

Thanks Shawn. Selected each ECU and just hit the "Code" button.

Worked a treat

What's the process for reverting to factory coding using backup files? How do I load "FA_Original" file? (I still can't get the trunk to open with the fob and just want to revert to original settings and start over.)
Is there an advantage one way or the other?
Thanks.

It is far simpler to reset FA and just VO Code all modules. Backup files are a waste of time as far as I am concerned.

If you have not modified your FA in anyway, then just read FA from car. If you did modify FA, undo what you did using same process.

Ok, did this to clear close trunk from button/fob in HKFM module. Fob still won't open trunk.
I'm at a loss here to find why it would close but not open from fob when coded and will not revert now.

For HKFM, you will need reset it before the coding take effect.
