Asking once, in only one place, is usually sufficient.

Got my new 2013 X3 3 days ago : Followed instructions and it worked right away. Great tutorial, tks !

So far, I've successfully coded :

- Remote keyfob / comfort access windows/roof/mirrors closing
- Video in motion
- iDrive and rear camera disclaimers removal
- Doors unlock on engine stop
- trunk closing with inside button and remote (delay before it actually worked)
- iPhone ringer sent to car

I love this !! I'll do more on a later session.

Is there a version of the big ESYS to write the U.S. regulatory vehicle E92 IDRIVE English system to the Chinese system can take advantage of it?

E-Sys = Fxx Chassis only. You need NCS Expert for Exx Chassis.

Hey guys, newbuck here.
After i already ordered the cable and resistors to build, i came across this posting for an "official" BMW coding wire.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-Diagnost...70653988880%26

Is this compatible with the F10 model, and price difference aside, how much easier would this make the coding process?

Also curious if coding on my own voids out the warranty.

No. That is a DCAN Cable for Exx Chassis. You need an ENET Cable. See here:

http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...ght=enet+cable

The warranty issue gets asked all the time, and the reality is that if you brick an ECU (which is damn near impossible with simple coding), and they can prove you bricked it, you could be on the hook for the repair. Could they void the entire warranty wholesale, likely not.

Just change the dropdown box to aktiv. Leave the Werte value alone.

You have no CAS Module listed in E-Sys? Really? What are the first 5 ECU's listed in your SVT?

This is quite strange. When you connect to your car, what are you selecting as your target?

Hmm...that is correct. I'm at a loss as to why you have no CAS module. Maybe in Taiwanese F10 the ECU is called something else. Sorry, I don't know.

Can someone send me a link to download the psdzdata files. I have an F10 manufactured 1/2012. Not quite sure if that would be the 46.6 version or the 47 version. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I have a 2011 F02 and would like to know if you would be willing to code some functions for my car. (delete seatbelt warning, nav acceptance screen, DVD in motion, and key fob closing of window/folding mirror.) Thanks In advance for your reply!

I will be in Birmingham area this weekend, and go there quite often.

Have a good day!

Ming
