Looking for a clutch
I'm looking for a clutch since mine has 130000 miles on it and I track the car. I want something with a lighter flywheel and better performance then OEM but not looking to spend 1000+ on a racing clutch, its not that serious. Basically good down shifting and grabs when I need it the most. I'm having the trans rebuilt in the process. From what I've read, SACHS makes the OEM clutch, I found a clutch on ebay (yea, I know) for a nice price and its SACHS. I hoping the comments and statements are by someone who used one, but if not, your still welcomed to comment. And please don't say no just because its ebay, have real reason

Has held 350 ish hp with ease! Feels like stock too. I think I've had it around 3 years. |

I know fluids and all but this is a e36 we are talking about, nothing is never simple. ![]() Oh, and I don't really have the extra money for a new vanos (and all the extras like chains, tensioner, etc.). But I need the clutch, trust me.

I thought about just repairing it but from what I read, just replace it. |

If you're more the DIY type also search for Beisan Systems [sp].

I am a DIY type, but do you think that will work. I guess I need to open it up and see if there's anything that clearly needs to be replace. A BMW mechanic told me to just tighten the tensioner.

Joey (SlimKlim) used the Beisan systems IIRC. He did it over a weekend. Were you to pm him I'm sure he'd answer.
