my gas tank door doesn't close!!!
anyone know what can be wrong? the door just doesnt close. it hangs open and when i try to push it in..it just bounces back. is there some kind of magnetic lock that the car uses on the door ??? TIA

If you lock the car with the gas tank door open, say from the remote, the gas door won't close. Solution: unlock from remote.

Look in the trunk
Maybe the manual release cable got caught in the open position

check the rubber gasket
My door behaved in the same manor; wouldn't close and I thought the door was broken. Turned out that the rubber gasket was just funky. Make sure the gasket is not bent out of shape ort in the way somehow.
