Gary - ASA production moved to China

Gary, was reading on E46 forum that ASA moved production from S. Korea to China around 2008. I was reading about some quality issues on the ASA's being produced in China around 2008. 8 wheels delivered and only 3 were able to be balanced.

I am looking at the ASA AR1 17X8 in Silver for my 2001 Z3 2.5i. Can you comment on any issues you have seen on these wheels the last couple of years?

Also, will my current BMW hubcaps fit the ASA or do I just put a BMW sticker over the ASA hubcap?

The few issues we've had tended to be when the facility first started up back in 08 or with a brand new style of wheel just being made for the first time (but even then, problems were uncommon). We've had very good experience and feedback with the AR1 wheels and the design has been around long enough that any production issues would have been worked out long ago. BMW center caps do fit in these wheels.
