Help understanding 135i lease
I'm trying to back into the MF and sales price of the 135i coupe listed on bmwusa.com but can't get it to work.
It looks like a 135i with premium package. Downpayment of 2,500, no security and payment of 379. I think my problem is not understanding how they are incorporating the loyalty bonus. I've assumed the MF is .0013 but that could be my problem as well. Can anyone help? |

Small print says "dealer contribution" - so that's a discount on the car. Could be trunk money too I guess.
In addition they use all rebates like 750 loyalty that you may not qualify for. I've looked at some of the deals and even at invoice plus $500 my figures are often more yet people seem to scoff and suggest to pay the special deal price is foolish. |

Did you put in the numbers on bmwconfig's lease calculator? I assumed a selling price of $40k with $750 loyalty cash and $2500 down payment equals $36750 cap cost. Everything else is plug and play.

Why waste your time with this? The residual is posted on these forums, the MF is .00129 right now. Get a selling price from a dealer before any applicable incentives (only $750 owner loyalty right now), add your taxes, fees, etc and get your monthly payment.

I'm new to leasing and want to understand the mechanics of it. Thanks for the help.
BMW says the MSRP is 41,295 but if you spec out a 135i with DCT and premium package, it's 43,045. Do they not include destination and/or some options to calculate the residual? |
