BMW X3 Garmin Vehicles

Hey I'm new here but I wanted to post something that I made. I noticed that despite there being an offical mounting kit for a Garmin I noticed there has never been any BMW Vehicles made for the Garmin GPS'. I decided to spend a few weekends and made every X3 in every color as a Garmin Vehicle.

To install the Garmin Vehicles, Plug in the Garmin Device and go to The device in My Computer\Garmin\Vehicle

After you drop them in the folder, you can unplug and go select the X3 you want!

These Files have been tested on the following models:
Nuvi 500
Nuvi 205W
Nuvi 265W
Nuvi 1450
Garmin Mobile PC
Garmin Mobile XT

I'm assuming that these files are universal and will work on any device
If you choose to use these vehicle files. Use them at your own risk. I will not be responsible if it turns your GPS into a chocolate cake.

Have Fun!

Thanks, now

thanks a lot, I had downloaded an X5 because I wasn't able to find an X3. You got any ideas on mounting a 5 inch GPS in the cubby on the dash. I know there is a replacement for the cubby that will hold one but I am trying to mount one in the cubby to where you can shut the lid and not have it visible all the time. I think I have found a short stubbly ball mount that will mount on the sloped back of the cubby that will work but it may cut off the bottom of the GPS screen, depending on how the seat is positioned. A fold down or drop down hinge of some sort would be great but I haven't been able to locate anything that will work and allow the GPS to fold out of the way as you close the cubby lid. The type hinge on the ashtray lid looks interesting. Just looking for alternative ideas. Thanks again for the download.

Sorry I don't have much info since I just suction cup mine to the window. I know a friend who did this with their storage compartment in their 2007 X3. I can't remember though if it was a 4 or a 5 inch screen Garmin. I thought it was a 5 but I'm going to look through my computer and find the image since I have a picture of how it was mounted. Im also going to ask them since I'm curious about it too.

Edit2: Added more pictures of my friends Garmin setup.
