E30 (1982 - 1993)
God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993.

Better milage??

I have a 91 325i with only 63,000.
Love the car but its what I call a 55 car. 29mpg @ 55....23mpg@ 75.
Is there a simple fix of a rearend change that I can do. The first gear is almost a granny gear so I wouldn't mind lossing a little HP for better milage.

Thanks for all the help.

etas had a 4.10 or 3.73. other than the lsd in the es. all depended on the tranny. manuals were 3.73 while autos were 4.10 due to the tranny gearing.

A tune-up and synthetic fluids may help your MPG's, also, check your tire pressure and alignment.
