Hello all! Lot of interesting posts here... some are very helpful and some are ....
I drove a MINI for about 6 years and loved it. Decided now it's time to move on up to a BMW. Loving the car. The MINI was real fun but I feel much safer at 120 plus in the 328 than I did in the Cooper. Still has that connected to the road feel but with much more control :-) Reading the posts about BW being a girls color was kinda a drag until I realized who would feel that way... My car does not define my manhood; I do! I don't drive a BMW to impress or be flashy; I drive one because I love to drive and there is no better car. Blue\Grey has always been my fav color and having black anything in Arizona is just nuts! White is boring and red is ugly. I think the BW w\Grey is a nice combo; looks refined and subdued which is exactly how I want to feel when I'm rollin in my new ride. And when I'm runnin a nice twisty road; color is the last thing on my mind. Thank you all for the info provided on car care and issues I may encounter. Ohhhh; and I am so happy I grabbed a new '11 before they were gone. Drove a loaner 2012 and did not like the feel of the motor at all. I'll take the tried and true IL6 before a turbo 4 any day! And the new steering is way to loose... almost completely takes that connected to the road feel away. Last edited by CSS; 06-08-2012 at 01:01 AM. |
