Tail light Access Covers

I opened my tailgate last week and the black plastic piece on the tail lights fell off- the other is loose. I'm taking it in next week. Anyone else have any issue with this seemingly very cheap and fragile piece??

I will when I go back to the car- I looked in the online owners manual and think it's actually the turn signal cover. It's a flat, black piece that covers the turn signal access.

The black plastic covers give access to the rear of the light units in order to change a bulb. They are supposed to slide upwards but mine were so tight I couldn't move them so got the dealer to change a blown brake light bulb (it was done under warranty anyway). However they shouldn't just fall out so something not right there.

Yeh- they literally fell out one day. Guess somewhere between your situation and mine would be ideal! Thanks.
