How about in the Northeast?

Jon is the best! I am so lucky to have a grandson in Santa Barbara that I am over the moon about and finding Jon who sold my wife her 2012 X5 diesel which he made sure it was there for her birthday. Thanks Jon you're my favorite.

We just received delivery of our 2012 custom ordered X5D and are super happy with the entire purchasing process led by Jon at BMW Santa Barbara. First and foremost, my wife was absolutely blown away by how fast and efficient the whole process was. Jon and I worked through emails to finalize everything from ordering to financing ahead of time. The result was the quickest time we've ever spent in the finance manager's office (15minutes or so). It was by far the most satisfying experience we've ever encountered in purchasing a vehicle. My wife is absolutely thrilled with the new X5... Contact Jon, he is the man!

I must admit; I was a skeptic when I first read about others experiences - but i ended up falling into the same happy story ending as others - with a huge grin on my face, as we left the lot.

First, thanks to Jon and everyone on Bimmerfest for all the great content. Every question I had I could pretty much find an answer to on here. Second, with 35d inventory drying up locally, I contacted Jon and was able to receive a great price on a custom 35d in under a month. Jon and his co-worker Paul were both a pleasure to meet, and made this one of the best car buying experiences I've had. Thanks Guys!

Jon's a very nice guy, and you can tell passionate in what he does. He's also a very talented surf photographer! Loved the office pics. All in all a great experience. Myself and the family are super happy, I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new BMW.

I live in N.VA as well. The local dealer agreed to offer invooice + something for performance delivery center. Let me know if you have any luck.

Jon - Is the $4,500 eco credits pretty much "gone"? I still see it advertised on a number of sites but my local dealer does not show anything. I had thought that they still suppose to have been available on vehicles delivered prior to October 31st but I may have mixed it up with the Olympic Drive offer. Local dealer has a number of them on his lot I would consider but if there is no longer that incentive, it may take the X5 off my "shopping list". Thanks in advance for any insight you may be able to provide.

I believe you would also be eligible for the Loyalty Cash.

Thanks for the reply. I did finally get in touch with my sales rep (good friend's son) today. I had called him last week and left a message on Monday. He said he had "been busy". Odd, when I was in sales and someone told me they wanted to buy my product, I was calling them, following up, etc. Maybe he didn't think I was serious? When I spoke to him last week I gave him a VERY accurate description of what I was looking for in a '12 Diesel. When we spoke today I asked him if he had found a car close to my request? His response...You wanted a Diesel, right? I told him I was on a BMW lot and sent him the lot number of a Diesel that wasn't perfect but that "would work". LOL, in the end I had to hunt down the car, badger the sales rep, tell him about BMWconfig, inform him what the Invoice figure was, etc. The things we do to help friends out...LOL. In the end, he is young and learning and I am easy going so hopefully we can bring this to a close before the end of the week.

In any case, once we did get the chance to talk he did confirm that the eco credit was still available and I already knew that I qualified for the Loyalty cash. I had thought that I would also have a chance for the $1,000 rebate through BMWCCA but I realized that my membership has likely expired (I don't recall renewing it anytime in the last few years so ...my bad). You have to have been a CONTINUOUS member for 365 days prior to purchase and unless my membership was a 5 year one, I am pretty certain I don't qualify. I also signed up for the Olympic drive but don't recall attending the event (busy due to work, life & not thinking that I was going to buy another BMW, etc) so I think I am loosing out on that credit as well (unless I can somehow use the registration confirmation for collateral).

In any case, it looks like I can probably still get a pretty good, no longer the GREAT deal I had hoped for but may still be viable. I can actually get a Porsche Cayenne (non-diesel) with more options for less or pay an additional $5K and get the Diesel equivalent and a lower (2% for 60 month) loan so this should be interesting...

Any chance you can recommend a dealer in Upstate NY? Or near NYC? Local dealer will not move off MSRP on a X5 35d. I am ordering sports package, cold weather, premium, and anthracite headliner, etc. Staying wtih $66,895. Trading my 2011 535i and 2009 X5. Pretty frustrated, but hard to figure out what the best approach is. Love reading your recommendations on this site and the BMWconfig tool is very useful. Thx.

Just start emailing dealers, stating what you want and the price you want to pay.and your ready today..

I just picked up my Red BMW X5 35d from Jon this Saturday. Jon was great. The price was clear and best I deal I have seen. In addition, Jon got all the paper work done ahead of time and I was out of there in an hour time. That is perfect as I had another 5 hours drive back to Bay Area. This is the best car buying experience I ever had.

I also had a very good experience with Jon. Transparent and it was an easy negotiation via email. Jon also made some exceptions for me with the credit app due to timing issues (buying a house). I would absolutely use Jon again in the future (if I stay with BMW)...
