No disrespect bro, but you seem to be playing around. You were asking me like a month ago an then you were asking papers. I can't believe from now you still haven't bought one? I highly doubt this man will tell you he has one. When you ready just buy it stop asking useless questions.

First of all my front speakers work 40% of the time, the rest work all the time so it's not a huge inconvenience. But it is annoying not being able to use my Bluetooth when it does go out. I'm not wasting anyone's time, I wouldn't even bother posting if I wasn't serious.

Just recently joined bimmerfest and looks to me like you, and several others on this thread, have deep knowledge on bimmers and as such I am hoping that you can help me with upgrading my 2002 745i e65 – I have time on my hands and I am a man on a mission!

My plan is really no different than anyone else. I would like to take my 2002 and facelift the interior – MMI, Nav, ASK (I assume I need this), capability for bluetooth so I can finally get rid of the StarTac and use my Android, AUX for ipod/android music (is wifi a possibility for this?), rear backup camera, I would like to be able to use the MMI as TV display (DVDs), TV for the back seats, and basically any other cool stuff you all can come up with. Once that is done I'm starting on the exterior! Like I said - I have time on my hands.

I know this can't all be done overnight but would like to start eating this elephant at least one bite at a time as soon as possible and, with your guidance, do it in the most rational way.

So…. I am looking for parts and for software/cables to program those parts into the car. I have seen multiple threads on different software to use for this and have no clue as what is "best" ( NCS, Dashsoft, assorted other alphabet soup acronyms, etc.) and seek guidance here also.

I know how to turn a screw and have worked in the software industry for many years.

I know – I am asking for a lot. So thanks in advance to all of you who help me out. If this is the wrong thread to ask for this help please be so kind as to point me to the right spot.

No. Mine work fine. I did replace the blubs, the ballast, and the angel eye blubs. Had to drop the bumper to do it. Wasn't nearly as hard as that sounds. Takes about an hour.
