Quick question about start/stop

Just traded my 2006 for 2011 F02 on Saturday.
When used to press stop button on E65 with brake depressed, it would turn engine off, display off, steering would go back.

Is this different now on F02? If I press stop button, navigation map stays on the display. I have to use remote control BMW logo button to lock the car and turn it off.

P.S I did search for answer in this forum, couldn't find it.

If you are trying to turn to car off, do not press the brake. Pressing the start/stop button one time will turn the engine off, but the radio/navi screen will stay on (as will the instrument cluster. If you press the start/stop 2x, it will turn everything off. It used to be, also...if you hold the start/stop button (no foot on brake), it would do a full shut down. If not, then press 2x (no foot on brake). Hope this helps.
