My order was shipped today! If USPS is fast, I could get them tomorrow!! But for sure by this Wednesday. I am SO excited!!!

Just got them installed, color and brightness is very good, love the look, but the error message appears.

First is PIAA 4250, keep in mind this picture is taken under 110 degree Vegas sun, so it looks dimmer.



After... I have to say I do like the color.

The rings are fully light up, of course inner ring is a little brighter but it looks good overall. Just wish there is no error message, but I guess I can live with it until a solution comes.

Hm that sucks I was hoping the resistors can trick the f01 but looks like f01's smarter than the lci e60...Damn!
The color looks awesome , but is that in DRL mode ? It's kind of not as bright as I hoped it to be, direct sun or not, the f10 angel eyes are shinin'..

Well, can't compare with OEM I guess, but it is brighter in person than the picture. I only took the pictures with my Nodia N8 and I am not good at it.

Here are 2 I took in my garage, looks bright.

The error message showed up again, changed to a "!" mark in the gauge, and after about 10 mins, the "!" is gone. So I guess I can live with that.

How did you handle the wires & resistor? Did you leave them inside the screw top bulb housing? Or put the wire outside, and screw the lid over the wires?

I just sent E92 a message, and told him that if I too get the Error Message or the "!", I will send them back, and need a full refund. Before I bought them, I had him state in writing, that a full refund will be given to me, if they do not work. I was SO damned excited to get these, and now Error messages. So bummed!

Well, the "!" stayed on for about 10 mins, for me it's no big deal just annoying. The instruction states there is flicking which I don't get, and it says to leave the resistors outside. Matter of fact, I need to go to my garage now to secure the wires with ziptide.

Well, I hope this is good news. I was securing the wires and decided to drive the car and check out the led ae again, and this is after the car been sitting for 5 hours. Guess what, no error msg! So I'm confused and happy Deutsch, you should install yours and see what will happen first. Maybe the car learned the new hardware, or it hasn't reset yet. I will have to have it on longer to tell.

My BMW SA told me that the "minor" errors are reported just once, then stored for a bried period of time and then dissapear automatically. This could be the case.
However anytime the car tries to check again, it might throw the error again. But you will see that I guess.

At the moment I'm thinking more about the brightness than the error message. The pics you posted are actually very good (thanks!) they give a realistic view. Can you make a few more in the daytime, but directly from the front ?

Then it's perfect, if I only see the msg once in a while, there is nothing to worry about. I would say go for it, the LED does make the car a lot more appealing.

Just waiting to see them in DRL mode (engine running, xenons switched off) daytime, directly facing the headlights. I guess not until tomorrow, seeing as it's night over there

And whether the error shows up again after the car's been sitting overnight.

This looks pretty good...of course, I hate the thought of an error message...throwback to the times of early modding and having to put black duct tape over the check engine lights...lol!

Well, the error msg came back on this morning and stayed there for 10 mins and disappear.

E-92 sent me a PM and told me the engineers are working on it to have a fix real soon. So sit back and relax, they will have a solution soon.
