Red face Air Compressor Replacement

http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/200...ompressor.html

Hi is this the right compressor for a 2006 Bmw 330i? Anyone know of a cheaper site? Thanks

Also when they change my compressor what else should I have them change that will be a part of the process? Like for example I'm going to have them change my serpentine belt. Does anything else need to be replaced when the compressor is replaced? Freon, condenser, drier, other items? Thanks!

Buying aftermarket parts for an 06 is risky. Many people are accidentally given E46 parts. Check the part number for the 07 and up and compare to be safe.

while apart I would change the belt tensioner also and possible the idler pulleys.

Awesome thanks I will order the other items you mentioned. This isn't aftermarket it's the same brand and the clutch looks exactly like the one that fell off of my car.

Maybe the previous owner bought an aftermarket one??

Thanks!

By aftermarket I was referring to the non factory BMW site. Many sites get confused on the E46/E90 2006 model year. I doubt the AC is not the original factory part. I seem to remember someone else had a clutch break. Search E90post also to see if they were able to just change the clutch. I would be surprised if you were not able to this.

Oh ok sorry I didn't understand what you meant. Thank you so much for your help! I checked on the other forum and the only info I found on clutch replacement was for e46 compressors.

Thanks
