E82 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by either an inline 6 in the 128 or the twin turbo rocket sled 135.

Sorry!

Sorry guys...

I'll just bost the info here.

Lease end: 08/26/13
Contract miles: 30,000
Miles on the car now: 20,500
Payment: $417 + tax

BMW 135i Coupe. Exterior is Alpine White and interior is terracota. It has Premium Package, M-Sport Package, Premium Sound, Navigation System, Bluetooth with BMW Assist, and Cold Weather Package. It has never been smoked in, and has never been into an accident. The factory tires are almost new since I've been driving it on snow tires for most of the term of this lease. Buyer pays transfer fees. Don't miss the opportunity to drive this exceptionally fast & fun car for a very low monthly payment. The MSRP of this car new was over $44,000, and if you get the same configuration for 2012 - the MSRP is $46770. Call Alex at 781-526-3320.

Yes - it did:)

Swapalease worked out fine with me. It took about 3 weeks from the moment I posted it until the actual swap took place. It helps if the payment/incentive is competitive though - the guy at swapalease told me that it usually takes about 4 months. In my case - I had the cheapest 135i and almost fully loaded and unique car.

BTW - if you do post it on swapalease - don't take the packages they offer you online. I called them and negotiated them down to half price!... and don't go for the cheapest package - it will give you no exposure.

Also - the swap itself only took 5 calendar days with a weekend in between - BMW were amazingly efficient and great to deal with.

And here is my new baby - 2011 Z4 35iS - M package

Good luck with everything - let me know if you have any other questions.

Curious - did it actually work out to your financial advantage to trade cars? At sixteen cents a mile you could have purchased 20,000 additional miles for $3,200. You could have waited until four months before the lease ended to have an accurate idea of how many miles you would have needed. Did you know this was an option?

Yes, I knew about the miles - but this is my situation:

Get out of a lease that ends in 15 months - $443 (with tax) 8500 miles left.

Assume lease that ends in 12 months - $198 (with tax) 13,000 miles left (employee lease).

My insurance went down slightly as well

I think it worked out fine financially - yes I had to pay for the add on swapalease + transfer fees but it wasn't that much compared to the free additional miles and lower payment.

Wow. Yeah, I'd say that worked out pretty well. Did you already have the employee lease swap lined up?

Yes - I got the lease already. The Z4 35iS is a real blast to drive.

Yes - I work for a BMW store in Massachusetts.

I added incentive in the form of a few thousand miles for the buyer - that's all.
