G12 Coding Looking For Some Help

So i tried to code my G12 this weekend. I couldn't get anything E-sys to read FDL data. Am i doing something wrong? Or is this because of the new ECUs?

Sorry. I do not have a G12 so I am not sure. ShawnSheridan will likely help if posted in Coding Made Easy or Download Links to Software threads.

It should have no problem with older ECU's.

What do you mean it isn't reading them? What is your specific Error or result?

Hi, I just connected to my G12 and got it to read the coding data for BDC BODY2. But I can not get any further as I couldn't find any of the switches for items like the folding mirrors or seat belts (those are obviously not what I was searching for, its some other phrase in German).

Are there any updated cheat sheets for the G12?

Thanks

Hello!

You can send me the ncd-file by mail and I will check what's inside. The german language should not be a problem.

Hey,

How do I find that file? I saved the data in the beginning before I tried to do anything. Is that what you need?

Thanks

Use the F015 Cheat Sheet. Other than Closing Trunk with KeyFob, funktion names are the same.

Thanks Almaretto.

Is there info on closing the Trunk with the key FOB? It is one of the main coding features I miss from my 2015...

An experienced friend (in F01 and F10 coding) tried coding my 2017 G12 with very limited success. We used E-Sys 3.27.1 (build 44813) - 2015-08-13 with PSdZ Version 5.01.02-2015-0812T- 12:04:59Z launching the system under the F015 configuration (as suggested by Almaretto above).

We managed to connect to the car, but were only able to read a very limited number of CAFD modules. We was able to read the following:

CAF [HU_NBT_EVO]
CAF [ATM]
CAF [AMP_TOPHB]
CAF [EGS]
CAF [ZBE4]

Using the Cheatsheet for the F015, I then managed to recode the "LEGAL_DISCLAIMER_TIME" to disable the iDrive legal disclaimer. However, we weres not able to find other parameters that are of interest to me, like being able to close the trunk from the keyfob. For example, the 300A section of the HU_NBT_EVO module does not contain the KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_FB and _FA that were available under the CAS module, nor the ASP_BEIKLAPPEN_BEI_KOMFORTSCHLIESSEN available on the FRM module, as previously found on the F series CAFD modules.

We also failed to read or find the parameters for the auto folding of the mirrors and the timing parameter.

If people have had more success trying a different version of E-Sys/PSdZ or using a different approach, I would be thankful for any tips

S15A for Connection Target. G011 or G012 for Launcher Chassis. On a G12, I can read over 43 ECU's.

By F015, I meant that designated coding was grouped the same way (eg, BDC_Body was main module equivalent to FRM & CAS on an F010). HU_NBT2 is just for head unit function (eg, disclaimer removal) and the occasional multi-module coding (eg, HUD Blinkers).
