E82 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by either an inline 6 in the 128 or the twin turbo rocket sled 135.

Run Flat Tires

Can you mix RFT with regular tires as long as you use two together.

I don't see why you couldn't, but it would likely affect the way the car handles.

Not a good idea as the different construction (sidewalls, especially) and tread patterns can result in dangerous handling, particularly in wet and/or emergency conditions.

Years ago when radials were first imported to the US in quantity, some folks made the mistake of purchasing only 2 radials to mix with bias ply tires and a number of accidents resulted from the unexpected handling.

I can''t give you a specific reference, but IIRC this is NOT a good idea. Check it further with someone who would know the correct answer.

No, it could lead to potentially dangerous handling characteristics.
