335D MT6 build investigation

My CPO expires in August so it's time to look into an MT6 for my 335D.

BMW may not have a transmission that can withstand the torque of the 335D but others do.

I'm thinking Tremec TKO or Magnum. ZF-6 from a C4 Corvette also appears as though it may work.

The differential will likely break but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

Can anyone confirm what size of pilot bearing will fit into the end of crankshaft, and the flywheel OD? If the M57 internally or externally balanced?

I'd rather not tear the car apart until I know this can work.
