Welt Parking Question

I know that it had been possible to overnight park at the Welt after delivery, but I just received my Reservation Letter with a customer information page. There is a section titled "Leaving Vehicles at the BMW Welt". It is mostly about not wanting to drive after pickup, but the last sentence says "Overnight parking is not possible at the BMW Welt".
Has anyone parked overnight recently?

I did ED two months ago and left my car parked in the garage for two nights so I didn't have to pay for parking at my hotel. When you get to the Premium Lounge, just tell them that you want to park your car in the garage overnight and they will be more than happy to give you as many parking passes that you need. They were very accommodating and even though I said I only needed one since I was not going to be driving around Munich, they insisted that I take a few of them in case I wanted to take my car for a spin around town. I believe that the garage closes at midnight every night and opens back up in the morning. Personally, I doubt you could find a cleaner and more secure garage in Munich to park your car in.

I wonder if they are trying to discourage people from asking, but in the end are gracious and not refuse if asked to do so.

I did ED about 2 weeks ago and we got the parking passes no problem.

I believe when they refer to to "no overnight" at BMW Welt, they mean parking at the Welt itself, but not the parking lot that is one block down. After you pick up the car, you can valet it at the Welt while you go visit the Museum/plant tour/etc.

Did ED last week. Delivery on Thursday. Left car at Welt with no problem till sunday. Just ask nicely for parking exit pass at delivery and they will be happy to help.

Positive customer experience is a higher value than the effort required to accommodate these requests. Ask yourself what would happen if everyone requested this service. There's a time and a place for everything, but choosing to impose on a kind host when you have other options is bad form.

Actually I asked if it were any kind of problem or imposition. They said I couldn't valet since I was picking car back up on Sun, but please feel free to use the garage and exit with the provided ticket. The ticket was good through Dec 2012. When I left early Sunday AM, the garage was almost empty.
