Hi! I bought it through Ebay as they have it for sale in Germany. I previously bought one from them for my 32 AMG, but with currency transfers it was a real problem, But through ebay/paypal it was very easy transaction this time. You can buy direct.....
The company is called Windshott and they have them for sale currently on Ebay. They are proper automotive glass (not Perspex) and well manufactured, with excellent fittings.....

Do you notice a difference now that it is installed?

To be honest, I did not use the original one that often, as I said I have only had the car 2 months and it has done nothing but rain in the UK for the last few months.
I really wanted to purchase it for the visibility as much as its wind deflection capability. I would probably say that the fabric original does a better job overall but it is the visibility which is the real problem. Plus many take the deflector down in winter and find it a pain putting it up on days with the sun, with these you leave it installed permanently and drop the top whenever you want!!!!! They are actually cheaper to buy than BMW's

Very easy! if you have the existing deflector then remove the four screws, they are behind the four plastic caps and then remove the holders, then screw in the new holder and slide in the screen about 20 mins if that!!!

Does it make wind hit the back of your neck though?

Hi ! the reason I opted for the clear glass is also a trade off!! It is correct about the wind deflection being different from the fabric original, I would agree that because the fabric type lets some wind flow through it does not bounce back. BUT!! and here is my BUT!! the original fabric is very bad in terms visibility and for me this slight trade off it well worth it to be able to see very clearly anything in my rear view mirror.
The bounce back you speak of only comes in at higher speeds and you can off set this by dropping the rear windows....... Having sold my old one, I used it to offset the cost of the glass one, the glass one also improves security!!!!! I still have the fabric inserts in the headrests!!!

I think starting with MY 2013, the wind deflector comes with the car.
