DSC Light Comming on Randomly

The Dynamic Stability Control light (the one right in the middle of the dash) has came on a few times randomly. It doesn't blink like a light bulb going out; it stays on for a second or two. It doesn't seem to come on much at all - just once or twice every few days. Also, nothing seems to trigger it that I've found: i.e. it doesn't just come on when I hit a pot hole.

Anyone have any idea what the cause may be? I'm thinking it might have something to do with the suspension. But shocks, struts, etc. seems good as new. If it was a short in the wires, it would come on and off more often than it does.

If it flashes a few times randomly that is what it is supposed to do when it activates. Are you sure you weren't taking a sharp corner where the rear wheel got unloaded enough to slip a bit? Or was it raining? Mine comes on sometimes for those reasons.

That could be it. I know once it flashed when I went down a hill and right up another in a \_/ sort of shape. But there have been other times when it flashed on a straight road.

I've had it flash on straight roads in the rain (hydroplane) but not in dry weather.
