X3 f25 ddc fault

My 2011 X3 has developed fault with DDC.

Dealer has replaced main ECU and after 1,000 miles it has failed again, dealer says it does not know what id efecting the ECU to fail.

Has anybody else experienced similar.

By the way, replacing the ECU resolved other problems with START/STOP not working effectively and improved fuel consumption.
