Another Fitment Question (non-BMW)

I've been charged with finding new tires for my father's 2008 Mazda MX-5 which has the 17" wheels. Ideally because it's his commuter car, he wants all-season tires although understandably that vehicle isn't gonna see that much snow.

The standard P205/45R17 size seems to have substantially fewer choices than bumping up the width to P215/45R17. Given the standard 17" x 7,0" wheels, would this be a problem in terms of fitment?

(I'm not sold on the Bridgestone G 019s by the way given the reviews)

Thanks Gary by the way for answering my last question for the 325i- we did purchase the tires and the slightly narrower rear tire size saved us money and gave us more choices.

Yes, 215/45R17 fits this car with no problems.

Thanks! I see there are two entries for the ContiProContact all-season tires in that size, one for $105/piece and another $112/piece. With identical load, speed, treadlife, and standard rolling-resistance, is there a difference between the two that I didn't see? (country of origin appears same; perhaps production date?)

I can also find no difference between the two. Slightly newer production on the $112 tires, but even the $105 tires seem to be very fresh (2011 production).
