Regular tire in BMW wheel

I plan to change the OEM 335i RFT tire with Michelin Pilot Super Sport (non RFT) tire.
Is it possible? Or OEM wheel only to be used with RFT tire?
How is the softness and handling of OEM tyre compared to Pilot Super Sport (or other summer high performance tire)

You can put go flat tires on the OEM rims.
Note that Michelin Pilot Sport 2 ZP (OEM RFT) is very similar in handling characteristics to the PSS. I suspect that the ZP is a little harsher riding, though I don't mind. IMO, this whole "Gotta get rid of RFTs" thing is over-hyped, although the original Bridgestones were not very friendly riding.

So, are you saying that you can only put RFT on OEM? or can we also put non RFT on OEM?

Yeah, what I'm hearing is the latest generation (3rd?) of RFTs are actually pretty good. Most people won't notice the difference in ride quality. The only caveat is the higher cost of replacing RFTs with RFTs... and the fact that sometime even with an RFT you still need a spare.

Do a search. This is a topic that has been discussed at great length on BFest.

The OEM wheels can take non-RFTs and I would suggest dumping the RFTs. They're crap.

I'm thinking to buy Continental Sport Contact 3 to replace Pirelli RFT that comes with my 335i
Would it improve comfort and handling?
