E39 (1997 - 2003)
The BMW 5-Series (E39 chassis) was introduced in the United States as a 1997 model year car and lasted until the 2004 when the E60 chassis was released. The United States saw several variations including the 525i, 528i, 530i and 540i. -- View the E39 Wiki

need to replace a new suspesion to 528i on my bmw

hi this is alex and I need to replace a new suspension to my 528i, but I don't want to take it to a mechanic because I'am tight on money plus i want to learn how to do it my self. anyone with any suggestion how to it. i need the tool that i would need to replace it. i have bought the suspension already to just install it. if anyone can please lead me to the right direction to do it my self will help me very much

Yes, buy a copy of the Bentley's E39 service manual. It'll give you the instructions on how to do the job, plus many others. The manual will save you Big Bucks in maintenance costs.
