Will this fit on the OEM BMW roof rack?

Hi Guys,

I just purchased the OEM BMW Profile Base Rack. I believe it is built by Thule but it has the BMW logo on it. Do any of you have a cargo box/luggage box accessory? According to Thule, this "sidekick" would fit but I'm not sure if it is compatible with the OEM rack I just purchased.

Thoughts?

The Thule sidekick is junK.

It is very cheaply made and you have to assemble it. Get something like an Thule evolution 1200, will fit any rack with square bars. Easy on and off. I have an Evolution 1600 on my Audi allroad, works great.

Geez... what accessories fit the OEM rack? Do I have to go thru the dealer to get a box carrier and other accessories for this rack?

Cool... I got the Thule rack-- really nice integration.
However, I definitely did notice the increase in wind noise with the bike attachment on (probably b/c the car is really quiet inside w/o the rack).

Does that visor attachment significantly decrease the noise or is it $50 not well spent?
