European Accessories purchasable during ED?

I am picking up an X1 in late November through ED. The X1 has had a tow hook bike rack accessory available in Europe for years, but nothing similar was made available in the US. I was wondering if anyone has had luck buying European accessories at BMW Welt or a nearby BMW dealer and having them ship the accessory to your address in the US (or shipping it on your own to yourself) while you are in Europe?

Hopefully I can work something out to get the bike rack while I am there...

There are shops at the Welt where you might pick it up or failing that you may find them at aGerman dealer.
Either way you'll have to ship it back separate from the car.

If you are looking for a good source of Euro parts, contact Chris (Parts and Accessory Department Manager at BMW AutoPremium in Rzeszow, Poland at: kdepa (at) bmw-autopremium (dot) pl He gave me permission to share his details and will work with you on price, payment and shipment to your address. I source all my euro leads from Chris.

You might try Amazon.de
http://www.amazon.de/s/ref=a9_sc_1?r...r%C3%A4der+bmw
We buy region 2 dvds from them a couple of times a year.

I've bought accessories at the Neiderlassung Munich many times. One time I even forgot them (rubber mats on a winter ED) and left them in the car - and they arrived. Other times I just packed them in my luggage. The Neiderlassung should be a must-see for any BMW enthusiast anyway - nice cafe and incredible selection of cars.
