Turin/Torino highlights
Today's (7/1/12) NY Times has a "36 hours in...." feature on Turin. The web version is here. I'll add some of the info to the Wiki.
I thought the story lead captured Turin perfectly: When it comes to urban reputations, being home to the Shroud of Turin and the headquarters of Fiat isn’t a lot to coast on. But Turin, Italy’s fourth-largest city, also has the elegant cafe culture of Trieste by day and the vibrant aperitivo scene of Milan by night, all while being nestled in Piedmont, arguably the finest food and wine region in Italy.
