Where to buy BMW OEM coolant?

Are there any other places to buy BMW antifreeze other than BMW dealers or online?

And is there only one type of OEM antifreeze or different mixes for different models?
Thanks for your help

Unless your dealer is too far way, why not buy it at the dealer bro? It's not expensive.

Dealer is on the other side of town. Was hoping to find something closer. I have an Indy shop down the street, going to check with them in the morning. Thanks

+1 Regular water will corrode/rust various components over time unless they are corroding/rust resistant.

Zerex G05 exceeds BMW spec and is readily available just about anywhere. Borate, Nitrate free etc. It's all I use.

I love a good ole common sense answer, compare the ingredients and buy the cheaper one… >>
Just because it has BMW written on the container doesn’t mean its superior. >>

Haha. It is what it is. BMW sets out certain requirements that coolant has to meet for their engines. Fact is, most European car makers require the same coolant due to the water found in Europe, specifically the hardness of the water. Long story short, Zerex G05 exceeds all those requirements, including being Amine, Borate and Nitrate free. There's more to the equation, but suffice to say G05 is a superior product.

Yet. Others have tried this with water pump failures due to not having the proper lubricant qualities. Antifreeze does more than just provide engine cooling.

Yeeah, Yeah,..Mopauly, we all know by now that you're strictly a OEM guy, but on cars that dont have warranty,
I personally dont see where the benefit of paying more for the privileged of a part saying "BMW" on it and doing the SAME thing as the one that doesnt.
Eventually, even the BMW Coolant wont stop the "weeping leak" or other issues.
I'm not trying to sound contradictory or anything, I'm just saying there are always other options that will suffice.

I'm not strictly OEM, but on this car yes. I'm as skeptical as the next guy but I do recall at least one or two issues here related to non BMW coolant. I have no idea what is different in the composition.
