car wont start, 06 325i

So as the title says, car won't start. Was in the middle of car wash, and then all of a sudden the abs light came on. Couldn't go anywhere or anything since in the middle of the car wash. Then a red exclamation with a circle around it, with bumps on the outside, looks like a gear almost? And car shook, then died. Car then wouldn't start and a gentleman and myself had to push car out. When i try to start the car, it try's to turn over and then computer shuts off. I can't take it anywhere right now its 4th of July and its stuck at a gas station. any help to try would be appreciated.

Sounds like you flooded the dme(computer of the car). The cowl, which is what lets the water collect under the hood drain out seems to be clogged and it filled up. It happens all the time in carwashes. Poor design on bmw's part

Idk man. Normally people get a used one from a part out and have a shop program it. At the dealer brand new I can't imagine anything less than like 2500-3000 lol. I have no idea tho

get your battery checked... the dme housing is pretty well protected on the e9x.

so itll start and then slowly die out, hopefully its just the alternator and nothing too extreme/serious.

There are so many thiings that it COULD be that it is hard to guess. You will need someone to diagnose the problem, but you already knew that. Just explaining why you are not getting much advice, too many variables to make a guess.
