slow leak in tire pressure

have noticed a slow (1-3)lb per day leak in front left tire (not run flat) for the last month. tire guys said the chrome wheel plating (bmw 18's) is deteriorating and the bead won't hold pressure. will have to re-chrome which will take 3-4 weeks. does anyone know where to find a temporary set of wheels/rims while the repair takes place? or have another idea?
