Locked out. Need Help!!!
I can't get in my '83 (e28) 528e and I'm in need of help. The lock cylinders on both sides have been out so I've been locking/unlocking the doors via the trunk. However, the central locking system just failed and I'm only able to mechanically open the trunk with the keys. It could be a fuse problem, but I just want to be able to get in the car. Are there any other solutions besides calling AAA or locksmiths?

Sorry I can not think of another way. You could break a window and then buy one from me for 20 plus shipping. Sorry that is all. I can think of. Or after aaa, you could buy the locks from the car I am parting and replace the ones in your car. Good luck

If the lock cylinder is "out" you should be able to put a screwdriver or something similar in its hole to actuate the latch mechanism.
