Flew the A380 for the first time with LH last year and it was ok but nothing beats a 747 in my eyes!

Hi Ace... where did you get the blank key from? I'm trying to retrofit comfort access to my E90, but the first obstacle is that I cannot get a blank key from the stealership. Also tried getting a VIN specific key from the stealer, but rejected.

Once again, thanks for your great work! I have most parts now, except the door handles and the key fob.

One quick q: does the non CA key still work after the retrofit? If the CA retrofit fails for some reason, I suppose the CA key would still work by inserting it and using it as if it were non CA?

I replaced the 35080 IC in a Key Fob that I had which made it a blank. I bought a SMT workstation off eBay which lets me remove and refit SMT IC's.

Yes, the non CA key will still work if you insert it into the CAS. But you want to get a CA Key Fob off eBay and then replace the IC and then program it.

O yes I love the rapid climb out on the Crj 900 although it can be a bit noise. I'm a big fan of Boeing myself preferably 777 an 76

Wow, you are just amazing.... Do I need an SMT (do you mean SMD?) workstation too? @@ If I send you a used CA key, would you be willing to help me replace the IC? For a fee of course

Also, do you still need the key reprogrammer? If not, do you want to sell it? Or can you reprogram the key to my vin if I provide notarized copies of the title and my license?

just get the CA Key Fob and the IC's off eBay, mail them to me, I will fit the blank ones and then I will mail it back to you done.
No fee, just pay the postage...it's a two minute job.

Does anyone know where I can get the comfort access module.. Cause my car already has this however it's not working & after bringing it to the shop they said I need to replace the module

Well... I need his help to work out the retrofit for a E90... He's been very helpful so far, until his account AceFX got banned... I'm not aware of other posts where the discussions might have gotten a bit heated...
