Will BMW warranty this?

My wife just snapped this pic and sent it to me. Will this be covered by the standard warranty?

Thanks,
Erik

When you say standard warranty, you mean original 4yr/50k? I think this would be the only one that you would have a chance of having it replaced without paying, but even that I think will be a long shot (depending on goodwill of the dealer I imagine). Can it be pulled out? I'd be willing to bet it just snaps into place as long as the plastic isn't broken.

Not past 4/50. That's body trim and not covered.

Door handles etc after base warranty. You may ask for "good will".

Yes I was referring to the 4yr/50k warranty. I still have 6 months left. I'm trying to schedule this now with my SA.

Depending on the dealership but most likely, yes. Various parts are not supposed to break with use but I agree with Daders that you can probably just snap it back in. When I bought my CPO, some of the climate control buttons were rubbed off. I noticed that this was super common with all BMW models. They replaced the complete face under warranty. To my knowledge, that's wear and tear. However, my rear door molding is ripping into pieces and they said no go.
