Transmission Fluid level

I saw a thread that contained an illustration on topping off the transmission fluid level. I have a 04 645ci and believe I have a low fluid level and want to attempt to add fluid before taking the car in to the stealership. Can anyone help on checking the fluid level or adding fluid to the transmission?

Thanks for the information. Even though I am one of those who like to do things himself, I believe I will go ahead and schedule the car for service. I believe the few extra hundred dollars is worth it in this case.
