Adding power steering fluid - 2007 328i E93

So after a little research I found that I need CHF 11S for my bimmer, what worried me is the complete lack of information in the manual. There is NO mention of power steering, they don't even tell you where to add it (not too hard to figure out, but still). So the question is this: Is there something special I need to know about adding power steering fluid?

I have a feeling I'm gonna need quite a bit, as my car was on a ship for 30 days in the Atlantic and there is quite a bit of fluid caked on the outside of the reservoir. Not sure if it just overflowed or what.

Welcome to the BMW's cryptic maintence requirements. That's odd. Check to see if the gasket on top of the cap isn't damaged or decaying. Depending on the mileage of the car it's probably a good idea to flush the fluid anyway.

The power steeting fluid isn't hidden

The power steering fluid isn't hidden. It pretty easy to see don't overfill it though.
Its the brake and clutch fluid reservoir that's kind of hidden under a black plastic
cover next to the driver side firewall.

There is a bunch of DIY's and other knowledge in the sub forums at the following
link.
