Blinker stay on (left) with new turn signal switch installed

I have a 2000 BMW M5 and my left blinker stays on when it's in the neutral and top position, but when I put it on the Bottom position (left blinker) it turns off. I just replaced the turn signal switch and it still does the same thing. The right blinker does not go on at all. Any suggestions?

Bulb might be burned out...

Check the connector of bulb make sure no oxidation or short in connector and check wires if they arent broken inside. Slightly pull wires from behind the connector and broken one will come off ez so you can fix it.
