BMW 520i 1985 speedo not working
I recently bought a BMW 520i 1985, the speedo hasn't worked the whole time while I've owne it, I saw in here that the batteries leak, so I replaced them but no success..
Also the electric windows, and the in dash clock doesn't work? Can any body tell me if these things are linked?? Some one please help! Thank you in advance! Last edited by Smale; 07-13-2012 at 04:38 AM.

Welcome to Bimmerfest.com! I've moved your thread over to the correct 5 series forum for you now. I hope some of our other E28 5 series owners can help you with your problem. Also try searching around this forum for solutions.

The speedometer usually fails because of a bad sensor in the diff, or loose/broken wires at the diff plug, and sometimes a loose ground on the back of the cluster.
