Talking FINALLY took delivery this morning of the new BIMMERFEST 335i M-Sport!

In case anyone was wondering, I haven't posted here (or done much of anything other than work) the past 3 weeks between delivering sold orders, getting ED contracts ran, and of course taking off for BIMMERFEST EAST a couple of weeks ago. I apologize in advance if anyone reading this has sent me an email request and have not replied in a timely manner.

Anyway, my new 335i arrived right before I left for BFE, and today was my day off and the perfect opportunity to do my own deal. The forbearance, or "delay of gratification" have been very tough, but it was well worth the wait... 8^)

Above is the first image and there are many more to come. I just wanted to share my exuberance with you all before I head out on my first drive!!

Jon one word comes to mind. MAJESTIC. I hope I can be as patient as you were knowing you car was there and still delaying delivery. I know the minute they tell me my car is ready I am taking off and going to get it.

your new M Sport

Jon,

Congratulations on your very sharp looking M Sport ! Those M performance grills with fewer slats look great !

Too bad BMW deleted the fogs for the American market.

I don't usually post photos of my wife on the Internet, but...

Does my wife look excited, or what?

I have a great photo that is a textbook example of what I mean by "Silly-Ass Grin" when I have a minute.

This one exudes the exuberance (of energy) that goes along with it on "Delivery Day"...

What a great picture - captures the essence of exuberance . "honey, when are we going to get our new car?"

Great photo job, and she definitely looks happy. I love the white and the wheels. Are the wheels new for this year?

A beaut!

Jon,

Best wishes with it. I have been looking at the F-10 to replace my '02 E 39 but I haven't jumped because the 550 is too big. Looking at your 335, I wonder if one similar would work as a replacement for the 540i. Do you think I'd feel cramped in the the 3?

Thanks. Good luck again.

Congratulations Jon. It looks great, especially the M Sport front end. I've never been a fan of AW but it looks great against the black trim and grills in your pictures. Well done.

Thanks for all of the positive feedback! Because 335i are so rare, and basically all are pre-sold, I had forgotten just how much fun this thing is to drive (the last time I drove one was at the dealer launch in early February). Interior dimension size-wise it feels about the same as the E39 5 Series that it is replacing -- just right -- small enough to be nimble, and large enough to be comfortable. The wheels are part of the M-Sport Package which is all-new for 2013.

How's this for a Silly-Ass grin??

AW and red leather, I didn't know they could look so good on a 3. The M bumper definitely makes the front look better. Congrats!

The illumination of the gauges is really cool -- so much more dynamic than what I had in my E46s and my E36 M3!

Mein Auto: Looking for a new car!
May I ask how you optioned the car and why you selected/did not select certain options? Love those 18" wheels by the way.

I am considering an M Sport over the Luxury Line because I love the 18" M Sport wheels and that I can get black sport seats without suffering the red stitching that comes in the Sport Line.

Congrats! Well deserved

Just curious, how does the F30 m-sport package compare driving feel wise to an F30 sport? Huge improvement, especially on road feel?

Zero difference. The M-sport package is purely cosmetic.

Doesn't the m sport have bigger rear brakes also a short shifter on the manual drive cars?
