e46 with 320,000 miles on craigslist

http://richmond.craigslist.org/ctd/3338537719.html

I wanted to share this because I think it is a pretty impressive feat and I think that many of us on here hope that our cars will go the distance as this one has. What i also thought was pretty amazing however is the $4000 price tag!

I am not surprised by the mileage, these cars and engines can go a LONGGGG time. The most recent Roundel had a e30 with over 550,xxx miles.

I am surprised by the $4k price tag as well

That`s a pretty good testimonial to the durability of the E46 !

It's nice to see this. Claimed one owner so he or she maintained it and got their money's worth out of the car. Still looks nice but it's pobably worth half of what they're asking due to the mileage.

Actually, it may be hard to sell at ANY price with that many miles. Then again, somebody may buy it for the bragging rights of the highest mileage E46. Other than the miles, it looks like a nice car.

It looks like it's at a "buy here pay here" lot so it's probably a matter of getting someone financed. Given the basket cases some first time new BMW owners post about here I'm sure someone will buy it for 3k cash or asking price with financing.

Great find!

I doubt we'll see this type of mileage on the newer E9x or F3x 3 series styles. ;p
