ED Question: can friend drive as well?

I'll be doing ED with my friend. Can I let my friend drive or do I have to drive all the time?

yes they can. just make them sign the insurance card.

Yup, they just need to sign the paper at the Welt with you. I had my friend from oversea that went with me last September and all he needs to do is sign the paper with me at the Welt...I did ask him to get an international license just in case but I don't think it needed. Good luck!

^^ I believe its a requirement to have an international license. I guess you weren't stopped and your friend wasn't asked to produce one.

You mean for "oversea" friends right? I don't think we in the US need international license to do ED...

Not all countries "require" an international license per se, though most will accept it. Austria in particular requires it for Americans.

It only costs a few bucks from AAA so might as well get one (and your friend) and be safe.

Turn out that my sister is going to join me. Do u guys know if there is a limit on how many people can be on the insurance card?

Not sure about that - it's just a piece of cardboard with the same few phrases in various languages, which state that you are a licensed driver, plus a passport-style photo.

Unless they've changed since I last had to get one.
