Question New Z4 headlight adjustment

Hi all,

Just took deliver of my Z4 3.0i (2003) a couple of days ago. It has the Xenon headlights, with auto levelling. The lights do the whole self-test at start (same as the E53 used to have).

However, they are pointed extremely low. On low beams, the lights barely go up the road. Is there some sort of secondary, more extreme adjustment I can make while still preserving the auto levelling?

Open the hood (bonnet) and look just behind each head light assembly, straight down. You will see two white, plastic adjustment screws. One is for X axis and one is for Y axis.
For one of them, you will need a long handle to reach it.

That's done it!!

I just adjusted both lights a couple of turns up and auto level still seems to work fine, but now I can actually see where I'm going at night

Thanks mate.
