Active ventilated (comfort) seat problems
Hi, I noticed (especially now that it's hot) that my active ventilated (comfort) seats don't blow cool air anymore. The air appears hot, and not only during the first few minutes of driving, but up to 30 mins I guess. So, my question is (since I am out of warranty, 2007 MY), is there a quick check to see what's broken? Does it have it's own A/C or is it using car's A/C? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

a first quick check would be to feel the floor under the seat. if it's wet then your "chiller bags" have ruptured. it might have happened a while ago and dried out by now.... but we have seen that sometimes the bags will rupture and spill water out on the floor shorting out a couple modules in the are as well.
another thing you could do is put your ear down on the floor, behind the seats, to listen for a pump running while someone else turns the system on and off. if you don't hear anything, you might have a bad pump. the seats are air conditioned by air being forced across a bag of chilled fluid. it's kind of a convoluted system and I would imagine it to have all sorts of possible failure points, but go through these quick checks first then let us know what you find. good luck!
